– Tonight it’s AEW Dynamite, the show opens with the commentators welcoming us. They run down the lineup for the evening.
Trio Match
Will Ospreay, Henare and Francesco Akira vs Don Callis Family (Brian Cage, Rocky Romero, and Lance Archer)
At the end of the match, Cage and Archer are pushed off the ring by Akira and Henare. In the ring, Ospreay surprises Romero with his Hidden Blade for the three-count.
Winners: Will Ospreay, Henare, and Francesco Akira
– Backstage, Renee Paquette is with Kazuchika Okada to get his thoughts on his match at All In. Okada says nothing is more important than family, except for Takeshita. Takeshita left the Don Callis Family because he was so selfish. The only thing that matters is that the International title stays with the Family, and Takeshita knows that to be true. If Fletcher remains champion, he will be happy. But if he becomes champion, he expects Fletcher to be happy for him as well.
– Kyle Fletcher comes to the ring for an interview with Tony Schiavone. Schiavone asks Fletcher if he would be happy if Okada wins at All In too. Fletcher says they are in the greatest reign of the International Championship in history. He sees no reason why he should stop, much less stop at All In. But Okada has said that the Family means everything, and he agrees. Don Callis has done so much for him. He owes a lot to Callis; it’s Callis’s plan for the All In match, and he trusts him with all his heart. If Okada is a man of his word, Okada will have no issue backing him and ensuring he stays champion. Fletcher says they also agree on the point that they despise Konosuke Takeshita. He congratulates Takeshita on his defeat in NJPW’s G1 tournament. Takeshita’s music hits and he arrives in the ring. Takeshita and Fletcher strip their shirts and a brawl eruptions! Takeshita gains the advantage and nails Fletcher with a Running Knee followed by his Raging Fire. Takeshita poses with the International Championship.
– In a video earlier today, we see Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega for the interview hosted by Renee Paquette. Ospreay says Omega has always been an example to him. Omega says he has always made sure to look out for the next generation; he noticed Ospreay and was glad to face him in NJPW. Omega says it was a question of whether Ospreay could defeat the face of NJPW for the fans, the next generation. But for him, it was about selling tickets; Ospreay’s name alone can’t do that. The two compare their histories in NJPW.
Paquette asks for their thoughts on Forbidden Door 2023 when Ospreay joined the Don Callis Family. Omega says Don Callis promised him gold. He captured several titles and thought it was real. But Ospreay used Don Callis to get what he wanted and win with help. Ospreay says that victory still keeps him up at night; he is not happy about it. Omega says he forgives him. It’s music to his ears to hear that, because it shows that without Don Callis he had already beaten Ospreay twice, and that’s not a match to settle the score.
Paquette revisits Omega’s recent illness. Omega says he understands how his life changed since then. He can’t train or eat the way he used to. But that has made him a better wrestler, as he’s learned to use his head more than his body. But is Ospreay a better wrestler after a three-disc neck surgery? Ospreay says that when he called Omega his idol and needed to bounce back for the title, Omega hid for four weeks. Because those were words that hurt his ego, Omega has always seen him as someone beneath him. Omega says it’s an ego problem with Ospreay. It’s Ospreay who wants to see him as a weaker version. Ospreay says that’s false; he wants the best version of Omega for All In. A match in front of his entire family. No Englishman has ever won a world title on his own turf. It’s a historic opportunity, a great pressure. He can’t collapse under pressure; he must be the best. He won’t be satisfied until he defeats Omega with honor, and he will do it when it matters most. Omega says that in 2023 Ospreay wanted to do it alone and failed. This time, Ospreay will fail again, but in front of his family. Win or lose, he has respect for Ospreay because he brings out the magic in him. His mother would be happy to see this match, no matter how it ends.
TBS Championship – 4-Way Match
Hikaru Shida vs Persephone vs Kris Statlander vs Maya World (c)
At the end of the match, Statlander delivers a Clothesline to Persephone and covers her, but World kicks out with a corner Swanton Bomb. World recovers, but Statlander cuts her off with a Powerbomb. Statlander makes a late bid for her finisher, but World reverses with a quick pin for the victory.
Winner: Maya World
– Backstage, we find Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter. They declare they’ve seen fear in Bayne and Kross’s eyes since the latest attacks. No matter how Bayne and Kross choose to retaliate, the comeback will be worse.
Continental Challenge Tournament – Quarterfinals
Jay White vs Jon Moxley
Towards the end, White lands his Blade Runner on Moxley, but Moxley rolls out of the ring. White drags him back in, but Moxley locks in a Bulldog Choke. White fights to break it, rises, but Moxley hits a Death Rider and covers, only for White to endure at the last second! Moxley applies a Rear Naked Choke. White fights but fades; the referee stops the match.
Winner: Jon Moxley via submission
– After the bout, Moxley celebrates. The Dogs rush the ring to attack White from behind. Orange Cassidy and Kyle O’Reilly rush in to brawl with The Dogs, but Gabe Kidd makes his return to aid his Partners in Dogs.
Adam Page, Brody King, and Bandido hit the ring, but The Dogs retreat. The Demand come out on the stage. Ricochet tells everyone to calm down and hear Adam Page. Page says they are the Trios champions. No way they are missing AEW All In. So if anyone here tonight wants a shot at the titles, they’ll have to meet them at Wembley Stadium because the champions will be waiting.
– Backstage, Renee Paquette asks Maya World for comments on her victory. World says it’s good, but she’s not done yet. Willow Nightingale arrives and tells her she must congratulate her on this great win. She warns that if she beats Thekla, World will get the first title match, so she’ll grant it this Saturday at AEW Collision.
– Jonathan Cruz is in the ring, MJF’s Spanish translator. Cruz says MJF sent him here to remind Andrade El Idolo what he thinks of him. He will do it in Spanish, a language Andrade can understand. Jonathan Cruz begins by saying that Andrade will never be the true AEW World Champion. And Andrade isn’t even a real Latino. If Andrade were here tonight, he would have no problem challenging him and showing his skills. Andrade’s music hits and he arrives to the ring, and the match begins!
Singles Match
Jonathan Cruz vs Andrade El Idolo
Andrade delivers a Back Fist to Cruz and follows with his DM for the three-count in under a minute.
Winner: Andrade El Idolo
– After the bout, Andrade takes the microphone to remind that he is the stronger. MJF’s music hits, but no one comes. MJF is on the TitanTron live from his spa. MJF says he would never have come with Baltimore’s poor crowd. He enjoys the sun at home. As the top boss of AEW, he asked if Andrade had his plane ticket to Baltimore. He knew Andrade would be there, so he decided to stay home. The next time Andrade will see him will be under the lights of All In. Andrade El Idolo is not happy and hits another DM on Cruz.
– Backstage, Renee Paquette presents an interview with Willow Nightingale and Mercedes Moné on split screens. Moné says she should have defeated Willow even more decisively as she still smiles. At All In she will end Willow for good. Willow says she’s smiling because she has all the fans on her side and Moné does not. Moné has spent her career trying to be perfect. Moné has become a star, but the fans know Willow well. Willow says she has never hidden behind defeat or victory. She has a connection with the fans. Moné says Willow stood in her way in NJPW, in AEW, and in taking her TBS title. Willow is the ultimate intimidator. Eleven days remain for Willow to smile before taking it from her for good. Willow invites Moné to come try. The two end up backstage trading blows. They will wrestle in the ring; security arrives to separate the two women.
– Backstage, Prince Nana asks if they understood Adam Page’s challenge. Swerve Strickland asks if he fully understands anyone for these Trios titles. Strickland says it’s not to be said unless Page believes it.
Continental Challenge Tournament – Quarterfinals
Nigel McGuinness vs Hechicero
Towards the end, McGuinness blocks a strike from Hechicero with a knee. McGuinness follows with a Sleeper and makes him tap for the victory.
Winner: Nigel McGuinness via submission
– A video is shown highlighting the rivalry between Darby Allin and Kevin Knight.
– Tony Schiavone is on the ring and introduces Kevin Knight. Knight refuses to hear the question and takes the microphone. Knight says everyone has been questioning him for months, but tonight he has the answers, specifically for Darby Allin. He is no longer a boy; he is a grown man and above all the best TNT Champion of all time. So he would like to speak to Darby Allin in person. Darby Allin’s music hits and he arrives in the ring. Darby Allin arrives, but Knight wants to make sure Allin has no weapon. Darby Allin lifts his coat on the stage to show it, but pyrotechnics explode on Darby Allin! Knight attacks Allin and brings him into the ring for a Coast to Coast with a chair. Darby Allin is carried out on a stretcher.
– Back, Darby Allin heads toward the ambulance.
Trios Match
Don Callis Family (El Clon, Mark Davis and Jake Doyle) vs Kenny Omega and Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson)
Towards the end of the match, the Bucks push Clon and Davis off the ring. Omega hits a V-Trigger on Doyle and follows with his One Winged Angel for the three-count.
Winners: Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks
– After the bout, the winners celebrate, but more members of the Don Callis Family rush out to attack them. They set up a move on a table, but Adam Copeland arrives. He offers his aid, but he can’t do much alone against the Family. Christian Cage arrives to help, and the Bucks also intervene. The Bucks, with Cage and Copeland, manage to drive the Don Callis Family backstage.
Kenny Omega ends up alone, but Will Ospreay arrives. Ospreay says he would like to know what Omega wants to say to him after his last insult during the interview. Omega says there’s only one thing to say to guys like Ospreay: security should come get him. Ospreay calls Omega a coward. Omega tells Ospreay to walk away with his tail between his legs, like the little impostor he is. Ospreay shoves past the security and goes to deliver blows to Omega in the ring! The security team pushes Ospreay back, and Omega takes the moment to land a V-Trigger on Ospreay and knock him cold!
Omega says he has one last message for Ospreay tonight. Omega delivers a One Winged Angel from the apron through a ringside table!
The show ends with Omega celebrating.
