Willow Nightingale is actually injured in her left hand just before AEW All In 2026.
During AEW Dynamite on August 26, AEW presented a storyline in which Mercedes Moné attacked Willow Nightingale backstage. An attack that targeted the champion’s right hand.
Today, the Wrestling Observer confirmed that Willow was indeed injured. In a media conference call ahead of All In, Tony Khan confirmed that Willow is suffering a fracture to her hand. A situation that forced officials to rewrite the segment planned for Dynamite and to present this attack.
Despite the injury, Tony Khan confirms that Willow will compete at All In against Mercedes Moné this Sunday :
”It’s true. Willow hurt her hand. It’s a last-minute change. Sometimes, when we arrive for tapings and wrestling shows, we have ideas and a general plan. Then something like this happens: Willow’s hand fractures on the day we film Dynamite and Collision, which represents a major change.
The team did an excellent job under yesterday’s circumstances. I had planned certain things for Willow yesterday, but I had to modify them due to her injury. It is indeed confirmed that Willow is hurt and that she will wrestle despite this injury. Expect to see Willow Nightingale at AEW All In.
Yes, she is dealing with a hand injury, but she really wants to face Mercedes and she really wants to wrestle at All In and defend this World Championship. I know Willow Nightingale is a fighter. She has proven it by winning multiple championships in AEW and by being a champion who defends her title.”
