Kofi Kingston (Kofi) and Xavier Woods (Austin Creed) are now free agents, and they have just claimed the AEW Trios Championships as the new champions!
At AEW All In 2026, the New Day, now rebranded as the New Level, made their debut in the Casino Trios Roulette Royale for the AEW Trios titles. The champions Adam Page, Brody King and Bandido had invited any team to come out and challenge them. Several AEW trios accepted the invitation, including a mystery team.
When it came time to reveal the mystery squad, Swerve Strickland rushed to the ring first. He was followed by his two new partners, Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed. Their new entrance into AEW:

The New Level managed to be the final team standing inside the ring to claim victory. It was a match where eliminations occurred by sending opponents over the top rope. The newly formed trio dominated the remainder of the bout and eliminated Pac and Castagnoli to do away with the last remaining teams and seize the win.
An interesting statistic: Kofi and Creed become the first AEW wrestlers to win the championship on their very first day in AEW.

An End to the 90-Day Clause
After having led WWE’s tag division since 2014, the New Day is now ready to begin a new era, or rather a new level, as their name suggests.

Kofi and Creed were subject to a 90-day non-compete clause in order to sign with another promotion. This 90-day period was theoretically set to conclude on August 31, 2026, but it appears the date announced for their WWE departure was not the actual internal timeline. Otherwise, the debut of the New Level at All In would have been impossible.
