The idea was to depict a violent assault involving blood. The commentators even referenced it several times during the show, but Netflix censored everything and it was impossible to see this violence. WWE was even forced to publish the clips on its social networks without the censorship.
On the other hand, WWE RAW is broadcast worldwide on Netflix, and the streaming platform must adhere to constraints regarding violent imagery across the globe. Perhaps Netflix should offer regional alternative versions? A question to be answered later.
