Andrade: Where Are You, My Friend?

September 5, 2026

Where has Carmelo Hayes gone?

Since his defeat in his hometown against the United States Champion Baron Corbin on August 14, the former NXT star is nowhere to be found. Carmelo has not appeared on screen since that loss in Boston. On social media, the AEW wrestler and former rival Andrade posted a message on X saying: “Where are you, my friend?”

Carmelo Hayes was backstage to witness the crowning of his partner Kelani Jordan at NXT Heatwave on August 30 in Texas. WWE fans of course hope he makes a quick return to wrestle on SmackDown, but the more imaginative fans are already picturing Carmelo Hayes in another promotion that might suit him better…

Where are you Amigo ? @Carmelo_WWE
