This dream match will therefore not take place in WWE…
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have had the opportunity to face off against major teams in the American promotion. But they never managed to face one of the most iconic duos in the history of this sport: the Hardy Boyz. In his podcast The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, Matt revealed that before The New Day’s departure to AEW, Austin Creed and Kofi had expressed their desire to face Jeff and Matt in WWE.
He states :

“I’m happy for them. I liked them both a lot, obviously. Back when we had won the NXT Tag Team titles, they sort of reached out to us to say: ‘Hey, we thought you would stay in the circuit a little longer. We would have liked to propose a project to work with you. And it would have been so nice to work with these guys. Never say never, that’s how it is, but I’m really happy for them.’
Do you think this dream match is still feasible?
