Breaking news today: professional wrestler Andy Williams, known by the ring name “The Butcher” during his run in All Elite Wrestling, has died following a wrestling match.
Williams took part in an Enjoy Wrestling independent show this Saturday, September 5. He wrestled in a match alongside The Blade against Duke Davis and Ganon Jones Jr. Unfortunately, he collapsed at the end of the bout and was attended to by emergency personnel.
According to TMZ, The Butcher died at the age of 48. A wrestler for over a decade, he joined AEW in 2019 and left the company last June after seven years. He was also known for being the guitarist of the band Every Time I Die.
