Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling Opens its Academy in Windsor, Ontario
A new chapter in Canadian professional wrestling is beginning as Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling unveils the MLP Academy, set to operate from a 370-square-meter facility (roughly 4,000 square feet) in Windsor, Ontario. The academy’s chief coach will be Josh Alexander, a star of both MLP and AEW, who will lead the recruitment efforts and approve the seminars offered by the program.
The MLP Academy is designed to accommodate participants at every level, from beginners to those with more experience in the sport. In addition to a core curriculum, there will be short-term, specialized courses that focus on particular aspects of the profession. Students will have the opportunity to hone their in-ring abilities as well as their microphone skills, while also exploring character development, branding, and how to navigate the broader world of professional wrestling.
