Wren Sinclair got her revenge.
On Tuesday night at NXT, the former Speed Champion laid into Kelani Jordan after her title defense in Orlando. She wanted to avenge her friend Kendal Grey, who was injured because of the champion. But due to her attack, Wren was suspended by NXT manager Robert Stone. The following day, in tears, Sinclair broke her silence on social media.
She states :
“ I have been officially suspended from NXT, and I wanted to take a moment to address everyone who has supported me and to apologize for my actions yesterday. I’m sorry: I’m sorry I didn’t do this sooner.
After having spent two or three years as the punching bag everyone walked on, Kendal is now sidelined for an indeterminate period because of Kelani, and I chose to defend us, which pushed Robert to suspend me. I punched a referee. It was an accident. She grabbed me and I simply reacted, and I know she didn’t deserve it. I just let myself be carried away in the moment.
But I feel like every member of the roster did it. Last night, Charlie even followed my lead right after my suspension: he climbed into the ring and said: “It’s time for those who deserve something to take it.” And that’s exactly what I did. And that’s exactly what he did. But what happened to Charlie? Was he suspended? No, no, not at all.
But then explain to me, Robert. Because if the problem is that I’m starting to have some backbone, I don’t know what to tell you, because suspending me certainly won’t fix that.”
