Stephanie Vaquer is the new WWE Women’s World Champion, but her victory could not be witnessed live as it happened at a Live Event in Chile, South America.
Indeed, WWE was in Chile for a Live Event (unbroadcast show) on September 12, 2026, and Stephanie Vaquer defeated Liv Morgan in a singles match. As noted on Catch-Newz, it was a match for the women’s championship and of high importance since Vaquer was in her homeland.
For the bout, Becky Lynch served as the special referee. While Liv Morgan managed to hit her Oblivion on Vaquer to cover her, Lynch halted the count with a middle finger gesture! A move that angered Morgan and opened the door for Vaquer to regain the advantage. Vaquer finished the match with her Twisting Splash for the three-count.
As you can see in the footage, a monstrous ovation for the new champion :
This marks Stephanie Vaquer’s second reign with this championship in WWE. A second reign highlighted by a VERY rare title change at a Live Event.
The Chilean fans were indeed happy to witness this victory as WWE returned to their country for the first time in five years.
The upcoming RAW show on September 14, 2026 in Mexico will be watched closely to gauge the champion’s reaction.
