Following Steven Borden’s official debut on the AEW roster, the spotlight now shifts to Garrett Borden as he prepares to make his first appearance on the independent scene.
These are the two sons of Sting, who were seen during his retirement, and this weekend it was confirmed that the brothers will step into their first tag team match on the independent circuit.
Indeed, the Rhodes Wrestling Academy has announced that Garrett and Steven Borden will clash in a match at their next show on November 8, 2026. At the September 13 show, Steven came to the aid of his brother Garrett, who had fallen victim to an assault:

Garrett got the win, got jumped after the match, then Steven Borden came out and made the save.

This seems to be only a matter of time before we see this newly formed duo step onto AEW screens or perhaps other platforms. Fans will have to wait as both brothers continue to refine their craft, especially Garrett, who is just beginning to navigate the world of professional wrestling.
Sting now has two sons who will carry forward the family legacy within the wrestling universe.
