Ric Flair has reaffirmed his loyalty to AEW.
Indeed, there were a few rumors circulating online suggesting that Ric Flair might potentially join WWE. The man himself decided to address the matter directly on Twitter, confirming that he will remain with AEW.
Ric Flair confirms his intention to preserve his loyalty to AEW and Tony Khan :
“I see all the rumors on the web saying that I am returning to WWE. First, it’s disrespectful. Second, it’s false. I have always been friends with Hunter. Nothing has changed in our friendship. We have mutual respect for each other. My daughter Charlotte works for WWE, and I support her within the company. I cannot work for WWE, because I work for AEW and Tony Khan. I am very loyal to him because he gives me the freedom to pursue all my business opportunities, such as Wooooo Energy, Flair Spirits, my autograph sessions or NASCAR. Tony and I are friends on a personal level, and he grew up watching me. I would never disrespect him. Please stop with these rumors. I am happy where I am in my life.”
Apparently, Ric Flair is here to stay on the AEW side.
