After Steven Borden, Garrett Borden has also had his first match in AEW.
Indeed, just before AEW Collision on September 19, 2026, Sting’s second son took part in a dark match, that is to say a non-televised bout. It was his first match in front of a live crowd in AEW’s ring.
He defeated the local wrestler Kiran Grey in a singles match. At the time of writing this article, it is not possible to confirm whether he has signed with AEW or not, but one can imagine it is only a matter of time given that his father and brother are already with the company.
As mentioned on Catch-Newz, Garrett Borden eventually decided to venture into the wrestling world shortly after his brother Steven. He recently made his debut at the Rhodes Wrestling Academy, and the two brothers will soon have their first official tag team match.
It all began at AEW Revolution 2024 for the Borden brothers, who witnessed their father’s retirement, a pivotal moment that motivated them to dive into wrestling. Sting will ultimately have two sons to carry on his legacy.
Their ascent in AEW will be watched closely, given that Steven Borden has just officially begun his full-time run on AEW’s roster as a full-time wrestler.
