Dorian Van Dux was slated to participate in WWE NXT on September 22, 2026, but he was pulled from the match due to an injury.
Indeed, during the show it was announced that the Belgian wrestler is suffering from a punctured lung. Consequently, he was replaced by EK Prosper in the bout for which he was scheduled.
Van Dux, Sean Legacy and Zilla Fatu were set to face Birthright, but Sean Legacy announced that Van Dux is dealing with this injury and must rest if he hopes to participate in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. The update is a positive one, suggesting it might be a minor injury and that he could resume activities very soon.
Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux are due to compete in the Dusty Cup. Their match is scheduled for October 6, 2026 (or October 13 to be confirmed) at NXT, where they will face the Tokyo Bad Boyz, leaving him two more weeks to recover and be ready for their tournament debut.

This isn’t the first time Dorian Van Dux has dealt with a minor injury since his NXT debut. A situation that could pause his plans.
