During All Out 2026, Thekla defeated Willow Nightingale in a singles match to earn this opportunity. The winner earned the right to this bout at WrestleDream.
As noted by Catch-Newz, Mercedes Moné was slated to participate in All Out 2026, but a nose injury sustained during All In derailed the company’s plans. Her recovery should be complete by WrestleDream, allowing the champion to return to action.
