WWE Aimed to Slow AEW All Out Ticket Sales

Last night, WWE and AEW staged wrestling shows at the same time in the same city, Chicago. While AEW held its All Out event, WWE organized Worlds Collide, a show that was not aired live and will be posted on YouTube this Wednesday.

According to Fightful, the decision not to air Worlds Collide live was made to affect AEW All Out ticket sales. However, WWE staff contacted by the outlet acknowledged that AEW’s show sold better than they had expected, even though they were satisfied with Worlds Collide’s sales.

The NOW Arena in Chicago was completely sold out for All Out, with more than 9,400 tickets sold according to WrestleTix.
