A sad development in the world of professional wrestling: the wrestler Pac, known as “Neville” during his WWE years, has suddenly passed away at the age of 40.
The news was announced by All Elite Wrestling on Sunday night. Pac had been part of the AEW roster since its inaugural year, 2019. The English grappler enjoyed a long career on the independent circuit, but also spent time in WWE between 2012 and 2018, where he notably won the NXT Championship as well as the Cruiserweight Championship. In AEW, Pac became Trios Champion and All-Atlantic Champion.
The cause of death has not been disclosed by AEW. Pac faced Andrade El Idolo at All Out, which took place just 24 hours ago.
