The WWE has announced Seth Rollins will be present at WWE SmackDown on October 9, 2026.
The blue brand will take place at the Cajundome in Lafayette, United States on October 9, and the arena has announced a Dark Match for the weekend’s show. A Dark Match that will involve Seth Rollins, who has been absent since SummerSlam.
The Cajundome is promoting a deal: two tickets for the price of one, and to double the hype around the sale it is announced that Seth Rollins, LA Knight and Solo Sikoa will face the clan 946 (Royce Keys, Bronco Nima and Lucien Price). RAW Superstars who will clash in this Dark Match, meaning a non-broadcast bout.
The date of Seth Rollins’ return to WWE remains to be watched. As mentioned this week on Catch-Newz, WWE is waiting for the right moment in the storyline to bring him back onscreen.
So this appearance in a Dark Match does not mean he will return to RAW next week. The shows will be watched.
