One match did not end as planned at AEW All Out 2026, and it involved Steven Borden and Darby Allin facing Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight.
Indeed, Steven Borden suffered a serious injury and AEW halted the match. The victory was awarded to Fletcher and Knight. Disturbing footage as Steven Borden was carried out on a stretcher.
It all began due to a corner jump between Kevin Knight and Steven Borden. The two launched into springboard attempts from opposite corners to meet in the center of the ring and collide. Unfortunately for Borden, the fall was painful as he was unable to rise, and the referee immediately stopped the match.
Steven Borden Taken to the Emergency Room
A short time later, AEW provided an update live during the show to reassure fans.
They confirmed that Steven Borden was rushed to hospital, but he remained conscious. AEW even stated that he was asking questions about his match, a sign suggesting that his memory had not been affected despite a possible concussion.
Steven Borden also underwent a medical imaging exam. The results of this examination are currently unknown.
It was Steven Borden’s first PPV match after recently making his first televised appearance on September 9, 2026. Further updates will be awaited.
