Kenny Omega made a special trip from Japan to the United States in order to take part in Pac’s tribute show.
Indeed, Wrestling Observer confirms that Omega was still in Japan on leave, but was also slated to participate in various video game events. When he learned the news about Pac, he booked an express flight to the United States to be able to participate in the Dynamite show.
This information confirms that Omega’s return was not originally planned for that date, but that Omega wanted to travel personally. It was his first appearance since losing his AEW World Championship at All In to Will Ospreay.
Despite this, it remains impossible to confirm whether Omega will stay on AEW shows or whether he will return to Japan while awaiting his official comeback.
This information will need to be validated in the days ahead.
