AEW was live from the Truist Arena in Highland Heights, Kentucky for this October 3, 2026 Collision show. AEW resumes its regular programming following the Pac tribute show.

– Kofi defeats Lee Moriarty.

– Conglomeration defeat Nick Comoroto, Aaron Solo and Griff Garrison.

– Myron Reed defeats Dante Martin.

– Lena Kross and Megan Bayne defeat two local female wrestlers.

– Queen Aminata defeats Julia Hart.

– Mark Davis defeats Adam Priest.

– AEW Continental Eliminator: Jon Moxley defeats Jake Doyle.

Recap of AEW Collision on October 3, 2026

AEW Collision Highland Heights, Kentucky

The commentators are Tony Schiavone, Paul Wight and Nigel McGuinness.

– Tonight it’s AEW Collision, the Saturday show opens with the commentators welcoming us and presenting the lineup.

– Backstage, Renee Paquette is with Lee Moriarty and his faction, opposite Kofi and Austin Creed to get their comments before their match. Kofi says they’re happy to be here. They decided to come to AEW to face the best, and Moriarty is among the best young stars. Moriarty says he is the best right now; he is the Pure Champion with the longest reign. He is the best in ROH and in AEW. Tonight it’s Kofi who will have to prove something.

Singles Match – Non Title

Kofi accompanied by Austin Creed vs Lee Moriarty accompanied by Shane Taylor Promotions

At the end of the match, Kofi looks to hit his finisher, but Moriarty pushes him to the mat to escape the Border City Stretch. Kofi struggles and grabs a cable to break the hold and applies a Headlock to Moriarty, but Moriarty grabs a cable to break free. Moriarty attempts a Suplex, but Kofi reverses it into a quick cover and Moriarty resists. The two exchange quick pin attempts, and finally Kofi lands his Trouble in Paradise for the three-count.

Winner: Kofi

– After the bout, the two shake hands.

– A video is shown about the Pac tribute show on Dynamite last Wednesday.

– A video features The Young Bucks sharing their memories of Pac.

– A video is shown about the rivalry between Kazuchika Okada and Will Ospreay, who will clash at AEW Grand Slam France.

– AEW announces the new stipulation “Clockwork Carnage” for WrestleDream. The AEW World Champion will defend the title under this stipulation. Eight entrants will participate, and the one with the most points will be crowned champion.

Trios Match

Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong) vs Nick Comoroto, Aaron Solo and Griff Garrison

At the end of the match, Comoroto pushes Cassidy into the corner. Comoroto thinks he’s in control and poses on the mat, but Cassidy surprises him with an Orange Punch for the three-count.

Winners: Conglomeration


Tag Team Match

Daniel Garcia, Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli accompanied by the Death Riders vs Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn and Ace Austin accompanied by the Bang Bang Gang

At the end of the match, Garcia evades a charge from Ace Austin. The Death Riders unleash a long-serious series of strikes against Austin in the corner! Yuta finishes with his Running Knee and Garcia applies the Sharpshooter to force Austin to submit while Colten and the Gunns are still dazed at ringside.

Winners: Death Riders

 

– In a video segment, Darby Allin speaks. Darby Allin says it has been a week, a lifetime. He reconsiders some choices he should or should not have made. At AEW All Out, he believed Steven Borden’s career was over. Borden had a family life and left it all to wrestling. It was terrifying to see Borden wheeled out, but upon arriving at the hospital Borden confirmed he doesn’t want to stop. The quest for the tag team titles isn’t finished. This period of self-reflection led him to think that Kyle Fletcher never lost the TNT Title; Fletcher lost it due to an injury. So he wants to see Fletcher in Paris for Grand Slam!

 

Singles Match

Myron Reed accompanied by the Rascalz vs Dante Martin accompanied by Sky Flight

At the end of the match, Martin kicks Reed to push him away. Martin climbs to the corner and flies, but Reed blocks with a Cutter. Reed follows with his 450 Splash for the three-count.

Winner: Myron Reed

 

– Backstage, Thekla knocks on Mercedes Moné’s door. Thekla speaks through the door, saying she would like a quick face-off before WrestleDream. Moné appears from outside to strike her in the back with her title! Moné says she’s not afraid; no one hits harder than she does. They will meet again at WrestleDream.

Tag Team Match

Lena Kross and Megan Bayne vs Two local wrestlers (Emily Rose and Joiya Blake)

At the end of the match, Kross and Bayne deliver their Double Chokeslam onto a wrestler to secure the victory in under two minutes.

Winners: Lena Kross and Megan Bayne

 

Singles Match

Julia Hart vs Queen Aminata

At the end of the match, Hart applies her Octopus on Aminata, but Aminata reverses with a Side Slam to pin, and Hart kicks out at two! Aminata argues with the referee, Hart regains a submission, but Aminata reverses into a quick pin and survives. Next, Hart goes for a move, but Aminata grabs her and hits a German Suplex. Aminata follows with a Running Kick for the three-count.

Winner: Queen Aminata

 

– Backstage, Austin Creed and Kofi celebrate the victory. Creed says Kofi just defeated one of ROH’s best champions. Kofi says that’s a fair point. This isn’t the end for them; they want to be tag team champions and a singles champion as well! Creed says that means they should aim for an even bigger opportunity. But who? Kofi says he has Bandido in mind. Why not do it at Grand Slam France? Kofi vs Bandido for the ROH Championship!

– In a video, Jack Perry says Samoa Joe had left for months, but he was the only one with the guts to call him out. He defeated Shibata as the Opps wanted, but Joe couldn’t even shake his hand. Yes, Joe can kill him, but he is willing to take the risk. He wants this match against Samoa Joe.

– Backstage, we find Samoa Joe. Joe says he heard the challenge. Perry wants to be a killer and must face a killer to become one. Joe says Perry must understand that he is uncontrollable and cannot be used as a tool. When he burns it all down, he hopes there will remain a piece of Perry to keep the man he is.


Singles Match

Mark Davis vs Adam Priest

At the end of the match, Priest counters a move with a quick pin, but Davis resists and hits his Piledriver for the three.

Winner: Mark Davis

 

– Backstage, Renee Paquette is with Queen Aminata and Mina Shirakawa to announce that Aminata can earn a title match if she continues her winning streak. Aminata says AEW is going to France, and she doesn’t want to wait until WrestleDream. She wants to settle this in France. She has lived in France, trained in France, so she will show Mercedes Moné in France why she is the only African female wrestler.

 

AEW Continental Eliminator – Singles Match

Jake Doyle vs Jon Moxley

At the end of the match, Doyle hits Moxley to stun him and delivers a Powerbomb for the cover, but Moxley kicks out at two. Doyle lifts him for another move, but Moxley catches him in a Sleeper. Doyle resists and does not want to submit, but he falls to the mat and taps out.

Winner: Jon Moxley via submission

 

The show ends with a celebration for Moxley.
