The Just Two Chant Booed at AEW Grand Slam France

October 7, 2026

This Tuesday, October 6, All Elite Wrestling hosted its first wrestling event in France at the Adidas Arena in Paris.

In France, in recent years, a chant has repeatedly surfaced in wrestling shows, notably WWE ones: “Just Two.” Launched after each two-count by the referee, this chant refers to the famous words spoken by Philippe Chéreau, a former WWE commentator in France.

If this chant already sparks debate within the WWE fan community, it seems even less welcome on the AEW side. Tonight, this chant was raised after some falls, but the reaction from many fans did not take long at the Adidas Arena: they booed it immediately.
