Big Cass has a bigger problem than a loss on WWE RAW.
According to WrestleVotes, there are people within the creative team who feel that fans are waiting for Enzo Amore’s return, a situation that would leave WWE constrained with Big Cass. It is reported that the producers hold divergent views.
Indeed, some WWE officials would feel hampered when planning for Big Cass, knowing that certain fans are simply awaiting Enzo Amore’s comeback, so nothing could really work for Big Cass as a solo act. It remains to be seen how WWE will address this issue.
Let’s not forget that this summer there were reports that WWE planned to sign Enzo Amore and send him to WWE NXT. This information confirmed that WWE wanted to keep the former duo separate. For reasons still unknown, the contract between WWE and Enzo Amore never materialized.
Enzo Amore continues his activities on the independent scene while waiting. One can imagine that if WWE comes calling for the main roster alongside Big Cass, he would be available.
