WWE Producer Bruce Prichard to Undergo Surgery

October 13, 2026

The WWE producer Bruce Prichard will need to take a leave of absence from his duties due to an upcoming operation.

Indeed, Eric Bischoff and Conrad Thompson confirmed on the 83 Weeks podcast that Prichard is dealing with neck pains and must undergo surgery, with the discomfort affecting his quality of life.

Their statement on the podcast :

“I don’t know if Bruce has spoken about this publicly, but he is facing a neck injury. It turns out he will need to undergo surgery to address the issue, and his quality of life hasn’t been optimal lately. He is recovering, undergoing rehabilitation and all the usual stuff, but he is suffering, that’s for sure… Do you remember the time when he played Brother Love and the Ultimate Warrior crushed him? He broke his neck, and he has only just learned about it recently. All these years later…”

An old neck injury dating back to 1991 that has resurfaced in 2026 and is impacting his life.

It is currently impossible to confirm when this operation will take place and how long he will need to be away from WWE shows. Bruce Prichard holds a significant role as a senior producer and oversees the most important matches.
