Kendal Grey has confirmed that she has received clearance from WWE’s medical team to return to NXT.
During the WWE NXT episode on October 13, 2026, Kendal Grey shared the good news with her partner Wren Sinclair, saying she was ready to get back into action and to back her as Halloween Havoc approaches. It should be noted that during Grey’s absence, her friend Sinclair earned a chance at the NXT Championship at the Halloween Havoc PPV.
A Hiatus Since Heatwave
Kendal Grey had been out of competition since suffering a loss to Kelani Jordan for the NXT Championship at NXT Heatwave 2026 in late August.
WWE had announced that Grey was dealing with dizziness and needed rest to come back stronger. Despite her time away from the ring, WWE kept her on screen with segments featuring a psychologist to help her in the storyline confront her demons.
She had been grappling with a fear of underperforming and had been sidelining personal happiness in her life. Everything is now resolved, and she is ready to begin this new chapter in her career.
