A security guard has filed an official lawsuit against WWE and Montez Ford for a dance during WWE RAW.
The incident dates back to WWE RAW on July 6, 2026, in Rosemont, Illinois, when the Street Profits stormed to the ring. During their entrance, Montez Ford began performing a “‘subjective'” dance in front of the ringside security guard, delivering several hip thrusts toward him.
A moment that was aired on Netflix during the official broadcast, but has since been cut from the edit due to the lawsuit. The security guard in question is a Cook County Sheriff’s Office deputy named Noel Lucas, and he had taken this secondary job that night.

14 charges against WWE and Montez Ford
He accuses Montez Ford of performing an unsolicited contact dance toward him during a live Netflix broadcast. He also accuses WWE of having allowed the moment to occur and of broadcasting and sharing it repeatedly on social media.
Specifically, he accuses WWE and Montez Ford of 14 charges, including assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and violations of Illinois’ Gender-Based Violence Act. He filed his complaint in court last Wednesday, and WWE has not yet responded.
Lucas asserts that Montez Ford danced toward him without warning, nor consent. The video has racked up hundreds of thousands of views, according to Lucas, notably on WWE’s social media accounts and Ford’s own pages. He also states that he was subjected to taunts at his job the day after RAW as people performed hip-thrust movements in his direction. He adds that his children were also subjected to taunts at school.
In short, the security guard seeks damages, the amount not specified in the complaint. He also requests a court order forbidding WWE and Ford from using his image.
A case to watch.
