Ricky Sosa Suffers Back Injury After TNA Bound for Glory 2026

October 23, 2026

Ricky Sosa had said he would be fine after his terrifying fall at TNA Bound for Glory 2026, but it seems that may not be the case after all.

During TNA Impact on October 22, 2026, TNA announced that Ricky Sosa is suffering “a severe back injury” following his fall from the ladder at Bound for Glory. The outcome is that he will be absent from upcoming TNA shows.

This news is indeed real, because if you look at the spoilers for the next TNA shows, he did not have a match. TNA does not specify for how long he will be out.

A Real Injury?

The TNA announcement could be questioned given that Ricky Sosa did wrestle at the Bodyzoi Catalyst show on October 18, 2026, a show held after Bound for Glory. Not to mention that he is still advertised for other shows in Europe.

It is currently impossible to independently verify whether Ricky Sosa is truly injured or whether this is a storyline to justify his withdrawal from TNA shows. If Sosa is severely injured in the back, it is surprising to have seen him on the independent circuit last week.

Further information will be watched closely.
