Latest Update on the Grande Americano Trial (Ludwig Kaiser)

October 23, 2026

We have to go back to this summer when Grande Americano, also known as Ludwig Kaiser, was arrested for assault in Florida, United States.

An incident that had put his participation in WWE RAW and AAA shows into question before a judge granted him the right to travel during the duration of his trial. Since then there have been a few hearings, and here are the latest developments as of October 23, 2026.

Last month, Ludwig Kaiser’s defense filed a motion to dismiss the charges, but the judge rejected the filing. The defense invoked Florida’s Stand Your Ground law, which allows for self-defense, arguing that Kaiser had only pushed the man to defend himself after threats. But the judge chose to continue the case because of the initial evidence.

This week, the alleged victim added three photos from the night of the incident to the file to show obvious injuries that would have been caused by Kaiser. The photos, in addition to the video footage, will allow the judge and the jury to render their verdict if the trial proceeds.

A new pre-trial date has been set for December 17, 2026, in Florida. This December hearing will determine whether a plea agreement is reached or if the case will be sent to a jury for a trial in January 2027.

So the next updates in December will be watched to know the sentences Kaiser could face if a trial is launched.
