Bruce Prichard Set to Leave WWE

October 28, 2026

Bruce Prichard is preparing to leave WWE following WrestleMania 43 in 2027.

Indeed, the PWInsider confirms that Bruce Prichard will retire as the head of the creative team and talent development after the WrestleMania 43 venture. This information has been confirmed by several sources within WWE.

Bruce Prichard is currently the head of WWE’s creative team. He oversees the various RAW, SmackDown and NXT teams that put together the shows. He handles the daily management of the creative teams across the three shows.

His WWE journey began in 1987 while he was already working behind the scenes, but also on the ring under the Brother Love persona. It was in 2019 that he made his return to WWE. A return to help Vince McMahon in the creation and development of WWE storylines. Since 2019 he has held a top role in the hierarchy of the creative team. A role he has continued despite the new TKO administration with Triple H.

A role still on a part-time basis

Despite his upcoming departure from his full-time role, he will remain available as a part-time consultant if WWE needs his valuable guidance. Fightful notes that Bruce Prichard will undergo surgery after retirement and will continue to work from home as needed. We must wait for WrestleMania 43 to see how this departure will be orchestrated.

Further information will need to be monitored to determine who will replace him in this key role.
