The new John Cena Classic tournament/show at WWE is being taken seriously.
WrestleVotes confirms that since the show’s announcement in May, WWE officials have been working on the project. They have held several meetings to organize something new and fresh for the WWE Universe.
And they have even enlisted names from NXT to help. Indeed, their source confirms that WWE officials have called on Shawn Michaels (NXT’s director) and AJ Styles (head of recruitment) to assist in orchestrating the John Cena Classic. They consulted the two veterans to get their take on the show, and surely the NXT names will face the main roster wrestlers.
The upcoming announcements for the John Cena Classic will be watched closely. John Cena will indeed be at RAW and at NXT this week to announce when and how this first show in WWE history will be organized.
The coming week will be used to confirm all the details.
