History is about to be written, the crowning of the very first LWA Champion!
After crowning its first tag team champions last February, it’s now the turn of the LWA Champion to enter the history books, in a confrontation that has become very personal. This is the third and final exclusive announcement on Catch-Newz for the LWA Requiem show taking place this Saturday, October 31, 2026 in Lyon.
Big Sabri J has now turned his back on the Lyon crowd.
He, who had long been the Homeboy, the kid from Lyon, the one in whom fans from the youngest to the oldest could see themselves, has decided to cut those ties.
After winning his qualifying match for the title, many thought he was ready to shake off Max Malosi and Cherif Bambino with Leedz, until he delivered a cowardly strike to the latter to reveal an alliance to form this new trio…
Now, and as he himself puts it, he is the LWA; he will no longer ask, but take everything that is rightfully his.
Facing him, the rising star of wrestling, Leedz Lewis!
One year. Only one year after his debut in France, there is so much to remember about Leedz Lewis. Extraordinary matches, increasingly challenging opponents, victories growing more important, impressive debuts in many promotions…
After a landmark summer in the United States facing international names like Lio Rush and Joey Janela, Leedz returned with a wealth of additional experience, and the same objective: to win his first title.
After Sabri’s cowardly attack, the championship will first go through a personal vendetta.
The tension around this match is at its peak! Who will be crowned the first LWA Champion at the end of Requiem?
