It was a match as violent as it was personal.
During SmackDown on November 6, 2026, Kevin Owens and CM Punk went to battle in a brutal No Holds Barred bout in Brooklyn. The Chicago native is eager to swiftly set his rival straight and focus on the undisputed title, while the Canadian aims to end Punk’s career. The stakes are high this Friday.
From the opening seconds, the two men exchanged blows. Punk landed on the back of his neck against the ring apron. Kevin grabbed a chair and struck the back of his foe with it. The two competitors battled through the crowd, and the Barclays Center crowd loved it. Once they returned to ringside, Punk attacked Owens with the steel stairs.
Kevin delivered his cannonball onto his sworn enemy who was already under a trash can. Outside the ring, near the entrance, CM Punk hits his Go To Sleep (GTS). The 48-year-old wrestler placed his opponent on a cart, then pushed it so that Kevin would crash into the edge of the ring. Owens’ head collided with a chair placed in the corner, but that wasn’t enough to take him down. Punk hauled several chairs into the ring. Outside the ring, CM Punk executes his elbow drop onto Owens, through the announcers’ table.
The Chicago native stepped up the assault, grabbing a steel chain. He wrapped it around his knee and went for another GTS, but Kevin Owens countered. Despite a brutal fall onto a pile of chairs, KO endured. The Canadian followed up with a powerful move on his rival through the tables outside the ring. Yet even after a Stunner aimed to finish the veteran, Punk managed to kick out once again.
After several minutes of brutal action, it is Kevin who would have the last word. After taking yet another GTS, Kevin Owens strikes Punk in the face with a chain. KO collapses onto his fallen rival as the referee counts to three for the victory.
