WWE Crown Jewel 2026, scheduled for this Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is still on despite recent warnings or events in the region, as reported by Catch-Newz.
However, the WWE Superstars should brace themselves for a very long journey to reach Crown Jewel 2026 in Riyadh for their safety. This involves a detour spanning many hours.
Travel from the United States to Saudi Arabia is not the fastest to begin with. Usually, WWE Superstars must make a layover in London before taking the final flight to the PLE. For Crown Jewel 2026, the situation includes at least one extra layover.
Riyadh’s airport has not yet resumed 100% of its operations following the bombing, so the wrestlers will have to land at a neighboring airport. It is precisely fighter Logan Greenhalgh from Power Slap who described the journey. Power Slap is staging their event “Power Slap 26” one day before Crown Jewel in Riyadh, and the fighters all arrived on Saudi soil on Monday.
Logan Greenhalgh explains that they departed from Atlanta, United States, making a first layover in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, before reaching the neighboring country of Bahrain with another flight. They then took a bus to cross the border, obtain a visa, and drive five hours to Riyadh. A journey that they all undertook together.
If you look at international flights, you can also see that some European flights are diverted to King Fahd International Airport, located a bit farther from Riyadh, just under three hours by road away.
It is currently impossible to verify which path the WWE Superstars will take to Crown Jewel 2026, as the information is kept secret for their safety.
