Summary of AEW Dynamite on September 30, 2026

AEW Dynamite — Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Commentators were Tony Schiavone and Excalibur.

– Tonight it’s AEW Dynamite, and the show opens with a tribute image to Pac.

– Excalibur is alone at the broadcast table and presents Pac’s life inside and outside the ring.

– Tony Schiavone is in the ring and says that in AEW they are all one family. On Sunday, upon learning the news about Pac, they were devastated. Pac taught them a lot of things: how to be a bastard in the ring and how to be a good person behind the scenes. What we learned from Pac is to be kind to everyone. He left that impression on everyone. Tonight, they will pay homage to that. Schiavone introduces a post-All Out video from the Death Riders, the last images of Pac.

In a video after All Out, Jon Moxley says Will Ospreay was the best that night. He gave it his all. He has no regrets; Ospreay is great. Losing is part of the game. You have to learn to lose. In wrestling, in life, we lose people, and we don’t always get what we want. What should we do? Get up the next day and give your best. Every day is a gift. It was amazing at All Out to be surrounded by fans and friends while doing what they do. Bravo to Ospreay for being the best. They had the chance to show what they can do. They have the dream in their hands, the future of wrestling in their grasp. It’s up to them to shape the future of wrestling. All those who have the guts to do what is right, now is the time to do something with this gift.

AEW tolls the ten bells in Pac’s memory. The AEW roster stands on stage in this moment of silence.

The Death Riders’ music hits and Jon Moxley enters the ring with an empty chair in Pac’s memory.

Winner: Jon Moxley

– After the bout, Jon Moxley remains in the center of the ring visibly moved. Bryan Danielson’s music hits and he comes to the ring in tears. Danielson and Moxley share a tense moment before embracing in a hug.
