So we must welcome Persephone who has settled the issue.

Shida says we should thank her because Baker’s nose is prettier since she broke it. Shida says she used to hate Baker and Rebel in the past, but today she hates Maya World more.

AEW World Trios Championship – Trios Match

Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly) vs Swerve Strickland and New Level  (Kofi and Austin Creed) (c) accompanied by Prince Nana

At the end of the match, Cassidy attempts a submission on Kofi, but Strickland stops him with a House Call! Kofi and Creed hit their Day Break on Cassidy for the three-count.

Winners: Swerve Strickland and New Level

– After the match, the two teams shake hands. The Demand arrives on the stage. Ricochet admonishes the two teams to stop the handshake. Ricochet says they’ve beaten Conglomeration without issue in the past while New Level struggled tonight. That means they could beat New Level anytime. Ricochet wonders why two rookies are getting opportunities in his company. Do they know Swerve? Did they go to high school together? Ricochet tells them to leave his ring.

The Demand and the Lethal Twist circle the ring, but Adam Page, Bandido and Brody King arrive to align with New Level. Ricochet’s faction decides to stay back and retreat. Page’s trio signals that they want a rematch for the Trios titles.

– Backstage, we find Steven Borden and Darby Allin. Steven Borden says that people ask him why. The reason is that he has always feared his father’s shadow. It wasn’t until tonight at Revolution when Allin and Sting won the tag titles that something lit inside him. He realized that he must face his fear and not revisit his life 30 years later by wondering what would have happened. So he called Darby Allin to begin this journey. Darby Allin says he knows what Steven can do. He is the first Steven Borden and not the second Sting.

– AEW pays tribute to The Butcher and notes that a grand tribute will take place at Collision this Saturday.

– Returning from the break, backstage Renee Paquette is with the Don Callis Family to get their take. Josh Alexander says he has been out for five months due to injury and has as much to prove as Steven Borden. Don Callis says it’s great to see a united family. Kyle Fletcher says they had a win at Collision and that will continue tonight. Kazuchika Okada arrives and says he’s happy to see Fletcher finally understanding the values of family.
