At Money in the Bank, Kevin Owens Wants to End the Career of This CM Punk Scumbag

October 9, 2026

At least, his intentions are clear.

Last week, Kevin Owens clinched the final spot in Money in the Bank by winning his triple threat on SmackDown. He needs this briefcase to reach the pinnacle and seize the world title from Sami Zayn. But thanks to his qualification, KO will also be able to lay hands on his eternal rival CM Punk, who is also involved in the ladder match in New Orleans.

In a recent interview with Cathy Kelly on WWE’s YouTube channel, Kevin Owens opened up by declaring that he intends to retire the native of Chicago this Saturday.

He states:

« I am entering this ladder match with several objectives, including the one of putting an end to the career of that CM Punk scumbag. I don’t like him, I never did, I don’t want to see him in my locker room, I don’t want him on my shows. If the fans adore him, it’s because they don’t know him. »

For now, Kevin Owens is not the favorite to win this briefcase, but apparently it doesn’t matter… There will be a match within the match tomorrow between Punk and Owens.
