It appears that Trick Williams’ dream match could become a reality.
Whether it’s in his wrestling style, in his moves, or in his attitude, the United States Champion has never hidden his admiration for Booker T. When Trick was in NXT, Booker T constantly encouraged him… On several occasions in the media, the 32-year-old wrestler challenged the former World Heavyweight Champion for one last bout… Interviewed by Chris van Vliet, Booker T absolutely has not closed the door on a final bout and spoke directly to Trick Williams.
He states:
« Don’t think I won’t lace up my boots again, won’t come back to the ring, and won’t lay a beating on someone. […] Never say never.
The last appearance of Booker T in a WWE ring dates from the Royal Rumble 2023. In 2025, he also wrestled in RCW. At 61 years old, the WCW legend still has the means to compete, according to him. Could Trick Williams deliver a solid retirement match for Booker T?
