Bryan Danielson made his return to AEW Dynamite on September 30, 2026.
While the Death Riders were slated to participate in a five-on-five, they were missing a fifth partner and Bryan Danielson answered the call!
Danielson came back and they defeated the Don Callis Family in the main event of the show. It was his first match aired since AEW WrestleDream 2024. He had been forced to put his career on pause due to neck pains.
A sensitive topic for Danielson who had been forced to retire earlier during his first operation in WWE. Be that as it may, it was a truly touching moment, considering that Danielson was a member of the Blackpool Combat Club, the original faction of the Death Riders.
AEW did not confirm whether this return by Bryan Danielson was a full-time comeback, or simply a one-off appearance to participate in this Pac tribute show.
In the end, it was a magical moment where AEW managed to deliver a feel-good moment despite a show that was so emotional in memory of Pac.
