Carmella Announces Her Retirement from the Ring

September 1, 2026

It’s official! Carmella is retiring at only 38 years old.

She has not wrestled for more than three years. The wrestler left WWE at the start of 2025, and some fans were surely hoping to see her on the independent circuit. But on Tuesday, September 1, the former Miss Money in the Bank dropped this bomb today, on her Hot Mom Sh!t podcast. She spoke about meeting her husband Corey Graves, and announced that she would not step back into a wrestling ring.

She declares :

« We were working together [with Corey Graves]. We met at work, we were a bit in the same boat. We spent all our time together at work, then we went home. […] Fortunately, I am retired now, so it’s clearly a bit different. I was a professional wrestler, but I can no longer wrestle. I am a mom. I have children. So, I am retired. »

Carmella had spoken out following her departure last year. She wondered if her departure was connected to having a child; she believes she was “punished” for that.
