It was October 16, 2026, during a WWE NXT Live Event in Canada, when Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo left the show on a stretcher.
The situation was serious enough that WWE decided to halt both the match and the show as well, it was the main event of the evening. Channing Lorenzo ultimately confirmed ten days later that he was fine.
Indeed, Lorenzo posted an update on his Instagram Story confirming that he is back in training and that he is doing well. He also shared a first photo from his hospital night after the show where he gives a middle finger and says :
“The doctor was worried about my ‘attitude’… I told them it was a pre-existing condition… The show goes on.”
So the return of Stacks to WWE NXT shows should not be long in coming. A positive ending to a story that was quite worrying.
