Since this summer, Raquel Rodriguez has been riding high on cloud nine.
On June 27 at RAW, a member of The Judgment Day pinned Sol Ruca to become the Intercontinental Champion. Invited on Chris Van Vliet’s show, Raquel Rodriguez spoke about earning this prestigious belt.
She states :
“It means so much to me, to my WWE journey and to my life journey in general. So it’s really cool.”
However, after 100 days of reigning, Raquel Rodriguez had defended her title only once in August. Is this the reign the champion had hoped for? At the moment, Iyo Sky is the one chasing the Intercontinental title. But what does the future hold for Raquel? Indeed, she says she is already thinking about the World Championship…
She states in this same interview:
“I think that for any WWE female wrestler, the goal is always to keep your eyes on the Women’s World Championship and the WWE Championship, that’s for sure. Yeah, that’s the goal. It’s everyone’s aim to have a WrestleMania match and to win the women’s title.”
