It has been nine months since Trick Williams has been wowing SmackDown fans.
Arrived after a grand run in NXT, the 32-year-old grappler made his mark and quickly became United States Champion. On Topps’ YouTube channel, the US trading-card giant, Drew McIntyre spoke about Trick Williams. The Scottish Warrior answered this question: If you had to invest all your money in WWE cards of one superstar, which would you choose? The former world champion did not hesitate.
He states :
« I would bet on Trick Williams. He seems like a safe bet. He’s a sturdy guy. He is in great shape. He’s an athlete. He has charisma. He expresses himself well, he works hard and he wants to improve. I’d like to check in a few years, because at the start, it’s easy to shoulder all the responsibilities that come with being WWE’s flagship figure: media pressure, the numerous tours, not to mention our weekly télévised show, our monthly PLEs and everything else. So, in two years, if he still has that motivation, ask him to appear as much as possible in the media and to give his all at every opportunity that presents itself; at that moment, I would invest everything I have.»
While Trick Williams fights to reclaim his US title from Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre hasn’t been seen on WWE screens since WrestleMania 42 in April. Could the two men meet in the future?
