Since his return at the end of July, Grayson Waller has excelled, whether on the mic or in the ring. But with the mic in hand, the NXT champion seems more than at ease. Invited recently on Chris Van Vliet‘s show, the Aussie Icon indicated that he absolutely wants to have a confrontation with CM Punk on the microphone.
He states:
« It’s going to happen. Every time I come on this show [with Chris Van Vliet], I keep saying it. I’m going to force fate by repeating it, but just know that it’s coming. »
When Best in the World crossed to NXT in mid-August, the Australian taunted him backstage. In September 2025, more than a year ago, while he was still a RAW roster member, Grayson Waller had already indicated that he wished to face CM Punk in a 1-on-1 clash. Does this matchup excite you?
