Jake Hager Secures TKO at Power Slap 23

September 18, 2026

Jake Hager lost by TKO at Power Slap 23 on September 17, 2026, but his defeat is being questioned by fans.

During Power Slap 23, Jake Hager absorbed Johnny Magna’s slap in the second round unshaken, though his eye looked a bit worse for wear. A troubling moment as Hager began to bleed from the eye.

The footage shows that Johnny Magna clapped him right across the eye and left a mark. The referee made the decision to declare a TKO since Hager could no longer continue the match for medical reasons. Strangely, Power Slap did not air the video replay for the referee or the fans, which raises questions about an illegal slap by Magna.

The upcoming news about Jake Hager will be watched closely as he might have lost vision in that eye.

Theoretically, there are still three more shows under the former WWE and AEW wrestler’s Power Slap contract. He currently holds a record of one win and two losses.
