Jake Hager’s Eye Update

October 8, 2026

We’re finally hearing some positive news about Jake Hager’s eye.

Indeed, Power Slap’s talent chief announced that Jake Hager can still see with his left eye after suffering a rupture of the eyeball last month at Power Slap 23.

The footage from last month looked quite troubling when Hager was struck hard in the eye and fluid began to leak. Dana White, the president of Power Slap, had confirmed that he had arranged for Hager to be taken to see top eye specialists.

Nevertheless, the Power Slap talent chief notes that they still do not know to what extent Jake Hager’s vision will be restored and he may require further surgical interventions. This development suggests he has not yet regained 100% vision in his left eye.

Hager’s return to Power Slap remains to be confirmed. In the meantime, it appears he has resumed some activities, as he’s listed for a Meet and Greet during the WWE Money in the Bank 2026 weekend.
