Following his defeat to Will Ospreay at AEW All In 2026, Kenny Omega chose to pass the baton to Ospreay.
Indeed, he sent a message on Twitter to declare that the rest of the future depended on Will Ospreay. A message he posted a few hours after his loss in the All In main event.

Omega also references his entrance at All In in the latter part of his message.
Will Ospreay is the new AEW World Champion. It will be up to him to decide what to do now that he has achieved his greatest goal. It will be for him to determine how he will represent the company and define his role as champion.

On the Kenny Omega side, it remains impossible to confirm whether this All In defeat signals another layoff from competition or whether he will return directly for a rematch against Will Ospreay.
