Last Tuesday in Paris, AEW delighted fans with an exceptional Grand Slam France. The crowd left the Adidas Arena with heads filled with fond memories. Alain Mistrangelo and Norbert Feuillant, AEW’s French commentators, were at ringside to convey their emotions up close. They were, of course, greeted with cheers by French fans. Two days after Grand Slam, Norbert broke his silence on social media.
He states :
“I arrived terrified for months at the Adidas Arena, especially at the moment of our entrance, convinced the hall would boo us. What happened on this network in 2023 had completely turned my brain upside down and had shaken a large part of my confidence.”
“Then all the noise, the ovation, the cheers for our entrance at our table, and the encounters throughout the evening, enhanced by your messages of love and support, moved me deeply. Alain and I still can’t believe it; it’s hard to grasp. Much more than the insane show put on by AEW, and the infinite talent of all its staff, it is you who made us dream and woke us up. The reality is that wrestling can be a kind-hearted passion. Thank you, ladies and gentlemen, and everyone in between for fixing me.”

On social media, Norbert Feuillan had long been unfairly criticized by some internet users regarding his positions (yet they were relevant), as well as his legitimacy to comment. But this AEW Grand Slam France has proven that today, all true fans are behind him to support him. The commentator will remember this evening of October 6, 2026 for a long time.
