NXT Heatwave: Vanity Project Steals Tag Team Titles and North American Championship from Myles Borne

It was a tough night for Myles Borne…

Moments after losing the tag team titles earlier in the Heatwave show at NXT, Myles Borne steps to the ring to defend his North American Championship against Jackson Drake. The latter begins the match very poorly against a weakened champion. From the start of the bout, the former tag-team champion Tavion Heights came to back his friend.

Myles Borne did not back down, and did not hesitate to take every risk to pull through. But on the outside the ring, Myles absorbed a brutal move from Myla Lockwood on the outside. Jackson Drake seized the moment to execute a diving move from the third rope, then pinned the champion: the leader of Vanity Project wins the North American Championship in Texas!

After the match, while Tavion Heights stood by his friend to offer reassurance, Myles Borne attacked him, surely frustrated by his two defeats.
