Fans waited an hour before Kelani Jordan showed up. Of course, the 27-year-old wrestler was all smiles as she arrived at the ring.
She declares :

But as she was continuing her speech, Jaida Parker arrived to confront Kelani Jordan. After humiliating Nattie at NXT Heatwave, Jaida believes she also deserves her opportunity. Parker immediately asked for a championship match, right then, on Tuesday night. But the NXT Champion refused and set a date for her future challenger next week. It’s official: Kelani Jordan will defend her title for the first time against Jaida Parker on the September 8, 2026 edition of NXT.

On the men’s side, Grayson Waller managed to win this Fatal 4-Way and clinched the NXT belt last Sunday. The Aussie Icon saw it coming and stepped out to address the crowd in the final segment of the night. He mocked Robert Stone and Vic Joseph, before declaring:
“C’est quoi le problème ? Vous vous attendiez à un autre vainqueur ce dimanche [il s’adresse à la foule qui le hue] ? Je ne suis pas surpris […] I believe people don’t realize what this title means to me. I’ve headlined RAW and SmackDown, crossed the world, faced Hall of Famers, won titles at WrestleMania. But winning this title at Heatwave this Sunday was bigger than anything else.”
“It would be unfortunate if I didn’t thank the people who brought me here. Honestly, there’s only one person I can thank: Grayson Waller! Because it was me who took the risk of coming back here to conquer my demons and this title. It’s me who, day after day, even when they gave me nothing, kept working to reclaim my best form and wear this title with pride. […] You can’t ignore Grayson Waller. I keep getting calls from people who wouldn’t even answer me… So, Nick Aldis, Adam Pearce, sorry guys, I’ll call you back when I’m ready. But right now, this is only the start of the redemption season. This title is worthless if I don’t do something with it, so who will be the one to try to knock me off my pedestal?”
After these words, Grayson Waller criticized and mocked his Heatwave opponents, Zilla Fatu, Cruz Montana, and Tony D’Angelo. In the end, no fewer than six superstars stepped up to claim a title shot: Saquon Shugars, Cruz Montana, EK Prosper, Mason Rook, Tony D’Angelo, and Keanu Carver.
