At 54 years old, R-Truth is the oldest active wrestler on WWE’s roster.
Naturally, the former tag team champion has seen generations of wrestlers come and go. And the company’s fans haven’t missed this wild stat: last Friday on SmackDown, R-Truth wrestled against Talla and Tama Tonga, more than 25 years after facing their father Haku in April 2001.
Back then, Damian Priest’s partner was named “R-Kwik” and wrestled in the WWF. Truth and Haku shared the ring in Nashville, Tennessee, during the Sunday Night Heat show: more than 25 years of history. The two men also participated in the same Royal Rumble in 2001, but they were not in the ring at the same time. A few years ago, R-Truth had achieved a similar feat, wrestling against Rey Mysterio’s father in 2010 and against his son Dominik Mysterio in 2024.
